Day 38
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
“The angel of death”? The LORD said that He will
go out that night and firstborns will die. The distinction for those who
live and die where two fold, life to those who by the application of blood
revealed whose family they are and those who will die because there is no blood
and members of wrong family. God’s judgment is just.
Exo 11:4 And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight
will I go out into the midst of Egypt:
Exo 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall
die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the
firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the
firstborn of beasts.
Exo 11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the
land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
Exo 11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not
a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD
doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
Practical - Works that apply Biblical Principle:
This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in
your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical
ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important
to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.
I am not who I am based upon anything other than whose
family I belong to. For myself, salvation came when a change in family
came about when the blood of the Cross of Christ was applied. When some
one asked “who are you” what is your answer? Answer: child of the
King.
