Day 117

Day 117
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
God never changes.  He is with us just as He was with those who came before us.  Let’s be careful not to talk about how great it used to be but how Great God is now and what Great Things God is going to do, and be thankful He is going to use us.

Joshua 1:5-9 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest.
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Since God never ends with the previous generation, we should be teaching our Joshua to take over.

2Timothy 2:1-2 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Day 116

Day 116
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word
God does not leave his people without the proper God given authority for our protection.  The children of Israel did not have to find a leader, God is the one who was leading and God set Joshua to be the one whom the people were to follow.

Deut 34:9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.

God sets up authorities.  Yes, even in the church.  Be careful not to fall into the trap the children of Israel did following Joshua.  They forgot who was in charge.  God is always in charge and He always sets up all authorities.

Heb 13:7-17 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Day 115

Day 115
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:

How Great is God.  Upon entering into the promised land God once again reminds them of who He is.  He is our refuge, our safety, our fountain, and all this is everlasting.

Deut 33:26-29 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.
Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

No matter where Paul was he always finished with reflecting on the grace of God.  How great is our God when we can always rest in His grace.

Romans 16:27 To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
1Corinthians 16:23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
2Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
Galatians 6:18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
Philippians 4:23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Colossians 4:18 The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
1Thessalonians 5:28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
2Thessalonians 3:18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
1Timothy 6:21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
2Timothy 4:22 The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
Titus 3:15 All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
Philemon 1:25 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
Hebrews 13:25 Grace be with you all. Amen.

Day 114

Day 114
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
Bible doctrine is to be proclaimed throughout the entire earth. Bible doctrine is the much-needed water for the plant of our life that needs truth to grow.  God is that doctrine.  He is the truth.  Doctrine is not just some stuffy preaching but it is all about HIM.

Deut 32:1-4 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:
Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Be good ground and hear the word of God.   Break up your ground to receive the seed and rain.

Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
Luke 8:5-8 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Day 113

Day 113
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
In contrast to the cursing we see in Deut. Chapter 27 we see God’s blessing.  What brings God’s blessings?  The answer is simple: obedience to God’s commandments. God always knows what is best for us and with obedience comes blessing.

Deu 28:1-10 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.

Blessing comes when we realize who we are and then realize who God is.  We humble ourselves before God and obey Him by doing what He wants us to do, this brings blessing.

James 1:23-25 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Day 112

Day112:
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
Truth: God takes very serious the acts of a man that undermine the order and structure of God’s laws of authority in our lives.  The curse here implies a bitterness that comes when we rebel against God’s laws.  When we seek to gain from the destruction of others, or to seek our own fleshly desires, it always leads to a bitter end.

Deu 27:15-26 Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.
Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Not only should we beware of our own flesh that would lead to a bitter curse, but we should beware of those around us that seek their own pleasure.  Stay away from those who only seek their own flesh fulfillment.  When the curse of bitterness comes you can be trapped in it with them if you do not get away.

Philippians 3:17-19 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Day 111

Day 111
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
What appears to be a physical battle is actually a spiritual battle.  God gives the victory but we are seeing, feeling, and yes being hit by the enemies fire.  God told the children of Israel to go into the battle field but also told them He was going to give the victory.  He told those who are distracted by things at home to leave.  Why? because  they would only see the battle and not the Battler.  Faith is where we are to stand in the battle, but we must be in the battle to stand by Faith.

Deu 20:1-9 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,
And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;
For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there that hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.
And what man is he that hath planted a vineyard, and hath not yet eaten of it? let him also go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man eat of it.
And what man is there that hath betrothed a wife, and hath not taken her? let him go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man take her.
And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man is there that is fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren's heart faint as well as his heart.
And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.

This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.

If we are going to be in the battle, the things of this world had better not distract us.  God is wanting us to be in the battle, not to win it; as He will give the victory.  God is wanting us in the battle to keep us from the distractions of the world.  While He is defeating Satan and his demons in the spiritual warfare, He is knocking off the worldly things from His saints to conform us to the Image of His Son.  Wow, two birds with one stone and all we have to do is be in the battle and trust God for the victory.

2Timothy 2:1-4 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Day 110

Day 110
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
All Truth is God’s truth.  God warns us not to try to get the truth for those who would attempt to have truth apart from God.  Mankind has always tried to reach truth by any means necessary without having to go directly to the source of truth, God.

Deu 18:9-16 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.

Beware of man’s versions of the truth.  Watch out for those who claim to have the truth without using the True Word of God.

Gal 1:6-12 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

What is Your Life? James 4:14

What Is Your Life?
James 4:14

James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is wer life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die.

Have you ever just walked through a cemetery and read the tombstones? If the cemetery is very old, we may find tombstones of very famous people. Some tombstones have more writings on them than others, which may give us some insight into who was buried there. However, almost all, if not all, have a beginning date followed by a dash followed by an ending date. With that information, we learn three things about the person: how long ago this person entered the world, how long the person lived here on earth, and how long ago this person died. We may not know who this person was except for the name appearing on the tombstone.

The beginning date was a memorable day even if it was only memorable to the mother. In our society, as in some others, that first day is remembered every year following. To the one whose birthday it is the excitement may be the presents that will come. To some that day marks a moving to an age that allows more freedom and privileges. To others it becomes a day to look back at a life lived with great accomplishments. Unfortunately, others see the date with regret and pain. However, when we look at the birth date on the tombstone, we don’t know what kind of memories this may have brought.

The end date is also memorable. This date is placed on a tombstone to show that others want this date to remain memorable. A memorial is established at the gravesite. Though we do not know the circumstances surrounding the end date, we do know it was the end of this person’s life here on earth. We may never know how or why this person died, but we are assured because of the date, this person is dead.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

The Scriptures tells us a truth in the passage that gives us an understanding of the end date. This date is set as an appointment. This appointment is to deal a final judgment on the body of sin. This appointment was set because of sin.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This date is followed by a judgment. The judgment of the body is done at that moment of death. The judgment of the person is solely based upon where this person stands in relationship with Christ. When we see the date on the tombstone, we know the appointment was met but we do not know the outcome of the judgment.

Again, when we look at the tombstone we see a beginning date and ending date, but we also see a dash. That dash stands in the place of this person’s life here on earth. When we see the dash, we have no idea what took place. There may have been good and bad days but we do not know. Somewhere other than at the cemetery, there may be answers to what took place during that dash. Friends, family, and other people whom they met could fill in the dash information.

What would those people say about this person’s dash? Would there be comments praising this person for how loving and kind they were. Would there be comments of distress about this person’s struggles through life? Would people say things of negative and distasteful ways in this person’s life? At funerals eulogies are given. The life is most times praised for good things done. What is said about a person at their funeral however may not truly reflect who the person was.

The universal question of “Who am I” rings more true at the time of death than at any other. When we talk about someone at the time of death, we say things such as what he or she has done in their life - the dash. We try to identify them by things accomplished, words said, and people touched. Nevertheless, the truth of the matter is, that is not who they are.

The Bible identifies who we are by the nature of our family. When one is born they become apart of a certain family which does to those around us help identify us. However, this is not what the Bible uses for identification. John 3:6, That which is born of the flesh is flesh… this is the first date on the tombstone. The physical nature of our birth places us in a family that the Scriptures teach brings death because of sin.

Romans 9:4-8 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; 5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. 6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

This flesh birth, no matter who the earthly parents are, put us in a family that requires a death sentence.

John 8:31-44 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make we free. 33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto we, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 36 If the Son therefore shall make we free, ye shall be free indeed. 37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in we. 38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with wer father. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told we the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41 Ye do the deeds of wer father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were wer Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Who we are, at the first date, is the member of the family of the devil, which condemns us to death.  As long as we remain in this family, we will face the judgment of eternal punishment for our sin. If we get to the last date as a member of this family, we will be forever judged with an eternal judgment of hell and the lake of fire.
But the Bible gives and answer to this judgment.

John 3:6-7 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

The answer to the judgment is to be Born Again. Before our last date on the tombstone, you and I need a second date somewhere in the dash. On the tombstone, we see the memorable date of birth and the memorable date of death. However, when looking at the tombstone we have the space following the last date. This space is called eternity. Everyone will face eternity after the last date.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

When we reach the end of someone’s life we know we can talk about the first date. We also know we can talk about the dash no matter how short or long that dash may be. We will talk about the last date, as it will be close to our minds and hearts. What will be most important at that time is what will be said about eternity. Will there be talk about a second birth, a second date in that person’s life which will bring comfort knowing that this person’s eternity will be with the Lord who saved them? Jesus taught this truth in a very familiar passage of Scripture.

John 3:1-21 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.12 If I have told we earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell we of heavenly things? 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

John 5:21-29 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto we, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 25 Verily, verily, I say unto we, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. 26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

John 11:25-26 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

The truth of the tombstone is hidden. What has taken place during the dash? Was there a second birth date? What happens after the last date in the space called eternity?

As Christians, we have a confidence.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

The truth again is a second birth date inside the dash. Some will come to the last date talking about what they did during the dash but will not have a second birth.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew we: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

Don’t be foolish, be born again.

Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

We know our first date, We don’t know our last date. It is important that we know our second date before the our last date so that we are ready for the eternity that comes after our last date.
