Day 96

Day 96
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
All that we have comes from God.  There is nothing in this world that we possess that is not God’s.  Beware that thou forget this.

Deu 8:11-20 Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:
Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;
Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;
Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;
Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.

Practical - Works that apply Biblical Principle:
This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.

What do you have that you think is yours?  The gift is God letting us use what He owns to serve Him.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Day 95

Day 95
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
The Lord is love, true, and faithful. His covenant to those who love Him and keeps His commandments is not limited.

Deut 7:7-9 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

There are many reasons to serve the Lord: because He loves us, because he is faithful, because He give mercy, because He keeps His promises.  Serve Him for one reason or all; just serve.

Day 94

Day 94
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
Truth of the testimony of a believer is the Lord brought us out of the world into victorious life with an eternal ending.

Deut 6:19-25 To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.
And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?
Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:
And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:
And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.
And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.

The end result of teaching truth is that are children get an answer for life and are not on the rollercoaster of life.

Eph 4:1-14 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Day 93

Day 93
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
Truth: All parts of truth must be followed or none matters.
Step one: Keep His commandments
Step two: Teach the commandments to your children
Step Three: Forget Not the Lord when everything goes your way.

Deut 6:5-12 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Following all the laws and telling everyone around you what they are does not help if you forget that all this is about the Lord, not how much you do.  The leaven of the Pharisees is the religious acts with the tiny sin of pride.

Mat 16:4-12 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.
Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Day 92

Day 92:
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
Teaching absolute truth to our children is the most important thing in life.  This teaching is the responsibility of the home, father/mother.  The teaching is constant all day everyday.

Deut 6:4-9 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

If we will take the time to teach at every moment of every day we will not provoke to anger.  The anger comes from lake of teaching by word and deed.

Col 3:21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

Day 91

Day 91
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
The biggest fool is not one who falls for a joke today but one who turns away from God.

Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Proverbs 10:8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
Proverbs 10:18 He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
Proverbs 10:23 It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.
Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
Proverbs 12:16 A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.
Proverbs 18:2 A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.
Proverbs 26:4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him
Proverbs 27:3 A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool's wrath is heavier than them both.
Proverbs 28:26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

Day 90

Day 90
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
The verse that all of the law and prophet hang on, reminds us once again who God is.

Deut 6:4-5 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Love the Lord, love others; there is no other truth to make practical in the entire Bible.   How can you make this practical today.

John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.            The same was in the beginning with God.
                                                             All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
                                                             In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
                                                             And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
1Jo 2:4-5 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
                                                             But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
