Day 80

Day 80
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
People spoke out against God with unreal criticism and over exaggerated comments. God responded with a very real judgment.  The people cried out again for relief and mercy.  God responded with a visual picture of the judgment and mercy with an image.  The people were told to look and live.  God uses physical judgment and physical items to reach the people with mercy but only after humility.

Num 21:5-9 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Practical - Works that apply Biblical Principle:
This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.

Only humility brings grace.  Only humility allows us to resist the devil causing him to flee. Only humility allows us to get close to God.  Only humility allows us to see the dirt that needs to be cleaned. Afflictions should humble us so we can look and live.

James 4:6-9 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

Day 79

Day 79
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:

Numbers 17:13 Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?
Take the time to read Numbers chapter 17 today. God takes serious those whom He has entrusted with the house of God. God takes serious the place to meet with Him. Those who murmur and fight against this; God places a judgment of death. The last line of the chapter asked a powerful question. “shall we be consumed with dying?” How many have to die before we take serious what God takes serious?

Practical: Works that apply Biblical principles.
This section is for you to find a way to apply this truth in your life.

Do you know what God takes serious? What are areas in your daily life that God takes serious but you question or murmur? Let’s take some time to day to get serious.

Day 78

Day 78
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:

Do not mistake the truth that God is not a respecter of persons against the truth that God has established authorities.
Num 16:1-5 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?
And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:
And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.

God’s plan for authority has never changed from the beginning.

Heb 13:7-8 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Day 77

Day 77
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
Walking and worshiping being Spirit lead, requires worshiping in spirit and in truth.  Those things are eternal not seen or understood by physical things. But God tells to build reminders that we can see.  Some times these are alters of stone and sometimes it is an attachment to clothing.  Those who worship these items miss the point of the items.  These are to remind us the the LORD our God brought us out.
Num 15:37-41 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:
And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:
That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.

Having items in your home or hanging on your neck does make your spiritual.  Having worldly items in your home however does tend to lead us to worldly thinking.  The practical here does not make you spiritual or worldly.  This is where some go wrong.  “Throw out your tv”  “internet is evil”  all are statements that may be needed for some who are drawn to evil instead of Christ.  However, pictures of Jesus, wearing a cross necklace or having a huge family Bible does not make you a great Christian.   But, what do you have on purpose that will remind you that the LORD is GOD.
Jud 1:4-5 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

Day 76

Day 76
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
When you stand with God people who are not will seek to hurt you.  However, remember that God is still on His thrown and has not left His dwelling place.

Num 14:6-10 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:
And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.
If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.
But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.

This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.

Who hates you?  Why do they hate you?  Do they hate you because you did what God told you to do or because you did not do what God told you to do?
John 15:18-20 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
