Biblical Principles Daily Devotionals Day 171

Day 171
Biblical principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
There is only one God. He is Lord. He is strength and power. He works directly in my life.
2 Samuel 22:31-38, As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. 32For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God? 33God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect. 34He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places. 35He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. 36Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great. 37Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip. 38I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
Practical - Works that apply Biblical principle:
There is One God who works directly with the body of Christ, the church.
Ephesians 4:4-8, There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Biblical Principles Daily Devotionals Day 170

Day 170
Biblical principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
Truth: Praise the Lord for who He and not forgetting to praise Him for what He has done for us.
2 Samuel 22:1-7, And David spake unto the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: 2And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; 3The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. 4I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. 5When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid; 6The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me; 7In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
Practical - Works that apply Biblical principle:
Count your Blessings and Praise the Lord for them.
Peter 4:11, If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Biblical Principles Daily Devotionals Day 169

Day 169
Biblical principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
All it takes is one person to make a big noise and many people turn away from God’s man.
This turn is not a matter of opinion or a choice between differing views. Always choose to follow God’s man. However, more importantly, the truth in this passage is the contrast is in Belial and God.
2 Samuel 20:1-2, And there happened to be there a man of Belial, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew a trumpet, and said, We have no part in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to his tents, O Israel. 2So every man of Israel went up from after David, and followed Sheba the son of Bichri: but the men of Judah clave unto their king, from Jordan even to Jerusalem.
Practical - Works that apply Biblical principle:
When we try to pick between people we are going to follow it always end in trouble. The practical to the principle is to always follow Christ and He will always bring us the leaders we need to follow.
1 Corinthians 1:11-13, For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
