Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
1Co 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever
ye do, do all to the glory of God.
Practical - Works that apply Biblical Principle:
A good exercise to do it to find all the practical things
you do eat day and make sure there is a Biblical principle to back
it. Why do you do what you do? We should have a Biblical
reason why we do what we do. The distinction needs to be understood between
what is a Biblical principle that should never be violated, and the practical
way we try to accomplish these principles which is our practical.
Today list some basic things you do everyday and see if there is a Biblical
reason for doing it. I will give some examples.
- Get out of bed each morning
- Eat breakfast
- Get dressed for work
- Go to work
- Do the job that is given to me by those in authority over me
These are some basic things we do each day; there are many
others that you may do. List 10 and ask the question: Is there a Biblical
reason why I do these things?
