Biblical Principles Daily Devotionals Day 26

Why I Believe What I Believe

Day 26
Biblical Principle- Absolute truth from God's Word

When God is with you then God will prosper you. The definition of prosper is different than what the world thinks. God's prospering allows others to see God. In order for God to be with us; we need to be with Him.
Gen 39:2 And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
3 And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

Practical - Works that apply Biblical Principle:
This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.

James4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

For God to prosper us we need to be walking close to him by keeping hands clean. (run from evil as Joseph did) Purify heart (keep our thoughts on Him) not double minded ( end the battle of trying to feed flesh and feed spirit)
