Biblical Principles Daily Devotionals Day 163

Day 163
Biblical principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
Sometimes while you are following exactly the leading of the Lord difficulties come. Sometimes when the difficulties come the people around you will blame you and seek to remove you. Sometimes all of these difficulties will cause you to be distressed. All the time we should be encouraged in the Lord our God.
1 Samuel 30:6, And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
Practical - Works that apply Biblical principle:
God gives grace when needed to those who will humbly follow Him.
James 4:6-10, But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
