Why I Believe What I Believe
Day 51
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
God has always wanted a willing offering. God does not
make anyone give. The offering is for the ministry for a place of
sanctuary to meet with the Lord.
Exodus 25:1-2 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an
offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my
offering.
Exo 25:8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell
among them.
Practical - Works that apply Biblical Principle:
This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in
your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical
ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important
to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.
Give out of love so that God gets the glory and needs of
others are met and God can bless our lives for it.
2Co 9:7-12 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart,
so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a
cheerful giver.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you;
that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to
every good work:
(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given
to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister
bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the
fruits of your righteousness;)
Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which
causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
For the administration of this service not only supplieth
the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
