Why I Believe What I Believe
Day 76
Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
When you stand with God people who are not will seek to hurt
you. However, remember that God is still on His thrown and has not left
His dwelling place.
Num 14:6-10 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of
Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their
clothes:
And they spake unto all the company of the children of
Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding
good land.
If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this
land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the
people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed
from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.
But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And
the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all
the children of Israel.
Practical - Works that apply Biblical Principle:
This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in
your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical
ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important
to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.
Who hates you? Why do they hate you? Do they
hate you because you did what God told you to do or because you did not do what
God told you to do?
John 15:18-20 If the world hate you, ye know that it
hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but
because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world,
therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not
greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute
you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
