Why I Believe What I Believe
Day 43
Biblical Principle-Absolute truth from God's Word:
Our response to God’s provision reveals whether or not we
are walking in His commandments. (Love God, Love Others) Matthew
22:37-40
Exodus 16:4-5Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will
rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a
certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my
law, or no.
And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall
prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they
gather daily.
Exodus 16:27-28 And it came to pass, that there went
out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found
none.
And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my
commandments and my laws?
Practical-Works that apply Biblical Principle:
This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in
your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical
ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important
to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.
God has given us provision. Are we praising God for
it? Are we using it to help others. We trust God for our daily
bread; not to consume it for ourselves but to get abundance for the day to help
others. We trust God when we no there will be no provision for the next
day He provides enough today for tomorrow.
2Co 8:13-15 For I mean not that other men be eased,
and ye burdened:
But by an equality, that now at this time your
abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may
be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:
As it is written, He that had gathered much had
nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.
