Why I Believe What I Believe
Day 127
Biblical principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
God
gives the victory to each individual that seeks to serve the Lord. Sometimes
the Lord uses others to help in gaining the victory, even if the victory is for
someone else.
Joshua 18:1-4, And the whole
congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up
the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.
2And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which
had not yet received their inheritance. 3And Joshua said unto the
children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the Lord God of your fathers hath given you?
4Give out from among you three men for each tribe: and I will send
them, and they shall rise, and go through the land, and describe it according
to the inheritance of them; and they shall come again to me.
Practical - Works that apply Biblical principle:
We
are instructed to fulfill the true law of God by helping others with their
victories even when it does not directly affect us or for our personal victory.
Our work will not be wearying if we focus on others in our Christian walk.
Galatians
6:2, Bear ye one another's burdens, and
so fulfil the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:9-10, And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we
shall reap, if we faint not. 10As we have therefore opportunity, let
us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of
faith.
