Why Do I Believe What I Believe
Day 143
Biblical principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:
When
we rebel against God, it could cost us an entire generation. Our disregard for
God does hurt others.
Judges 13:1, And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of
the LORD; and the LORD delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty
years.
Practical - Works that apply Biblical principle:
All
it takes is for us to not see God as to who He is and we will do things we
never thought were possible, this includes seeing things of this world as more
important than God Himself. What are we teaching our children? No wonder we lose
our children and an entire generation.
Romans 1:21-25, Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as
God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their
foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they
became fools, 23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into
an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and
creeping things. 24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness
through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between
themselves: 25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and
worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for
ever. Amen.
