Biblical Principle - Absolute truth from God’s Word:God, even in judgment, deals with us personally and practically.  God is not the man upstairs.  God brought judgment so that He could show all that He is LORD.  When Pharaoh asked of God through Moses to end the plague the result was unexpected.  God was willing to end the plague but asked Pharaoh through Moses when.  Pharaoh’s response was tomorrow.  A famous sermon teaches this lesson well “One More Night With The Frogs”  Man’s sin would rather have the plague than to admit he was wrong and God is right.

 Exodus 8:8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.

⁹ And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?

¹⁰ And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

Practical - Works that apply Biblical Principle:

 What are you doing today that would cause you to want the frogs one more day instead of humbling yourself before God?
