Day 176
Biblical Principle -
Absolute truth from God’s Word
Four hundred and twenty five years after the children of
Israel walked out of Egypt, there was a fixed location for the place where God
would meet with man. This place is the
southern end of a mountain range known as Mt Moriah. This is the location where Melchizedek
served the Lord as both priest and king of the Most High God whom Abraham paid
tithes. At the northern end or highest peak of this range is the location where
Christ was crucified. This is also the
location where Abraham placed Isaac on the alter. Gen 22:1-2 And it came to
pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him,
Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son
Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him
there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
Gen 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt
offering: so they went both of them together.
God’s timing and locations are perfect.
1Kings 6:1 And it came to pass in the four hundred and
eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt,
in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is
the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.
1Kings 6:38 And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul,
which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the
parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in
building it.
Practical - Works
that apply Biblical Principle:
This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in
your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical
ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important
to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.
The practical of this truth is to share it with others every
opportunity.
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and
saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
