Day 127
Biblical Principle -
Absolute truth from God’s Word:
God gives the victory to each individual that seeks to serve
the Lord. Sometimes the Lord gets others
to help in getting the victory, even if the victory is for someone else.
Joshua 18:1-4 And the whole congregation of the children of
Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the
congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.
And there remained among the
children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance.
And Joshua said unto the children
of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the
LORD God of your fathers hath given you?
Give out from among you three men
for each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall rise, and go
through the land, and describe it according to the inheritance of them; and
they shall come again to me.
Practical - Works
that apply Biblical Principle:
This section is for you to find a way to apply the truth in
your life. I will try to give only one as example; there may be other practical
ways. This is what makes the Christian walk so important and makes it important
to have a deliberate purpose in everything we do.
We are instructed to fulfill the true law of God by helping
others with their victories even when it does not directly affect us or for our
personal victory. Our work will not be
wearying if we focus on others in our Christian walk.
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil
the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:9-10 And let us not be weary in well doing: for
in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
As we have therefore opportunity,
let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the
household of faith.
